The ability to quickly grab insights and create visual comparisons has been a game-changer. It's made reporting to my manager so much simpler... I can find what I need in seconds and take screengrabs without faffing about in complex dashboards. Three months in and it's become essential to my workflow. Onboarding was pretty smooth as well!

Honestly, not much to complain about so far. It does what it promises. Perhaps more data source integrations would be nice in future, but for Google Analytics and Search Console, it’s spot on.

After purchasing the tool about a week ago, I’ve had the opportunity to gather some initial hands-on experience. Due to other ongoing projects, my usage hasn’t been very in-depth yet, but I’ve been able to explore the core functionality and test a few practical use cases.

During this initial phase, I’ve already used some credits, tried different features, and run a few test scenarios. However, a full evaluation of the data quality is still pending. As a next step, I plan to cross-check the results with Google Search Console and Google Analytics to better assess the accuracy and reliability of the data.

Overall, my first impression is clearly positive. The tool feels stable, well thought out, and shows strong potential to significantly reduce time spent on research and analysis tasks.

One area that stands out as a potential improvement is the organization of the chat history. As usage increases, maintaining an overview could become challenging. Features such as manually renaming chats, creating folders, organizing conversations by topic, or deleting individual chats would greatly enhance usability.

A practical example: when running multiple blog analyses, several chats are generated. Being able to group them into a dedicated “Blog” folder would make navigation much more efficient. The same applies to KPI-related analyses, such as monthly performance reviews, where a structured organization would save time and improve workflow clarity.

At the moment, this is still manageable, but with growing usage and more complex projects, a scalable and flexible structure will become increasingly important.

I will continue testing the tool over the coming weeks, especially with a focus on data validation. If the data proves to be reliable, upgrading to a higher tier is definitely something I would consider.

I’m a graphic designer, social media marketer, and web designer - but for many clients, I’m a true all-rounder. I also handle Google Ads, SEO, and GEO optimization, and on that front Backona is a fantastic addition to my toolkit.

This tool is great for talking with your Google Analytics data, which makes it very practical for anyone who wants to know their stats. Small suggestion: when you have several sites, it's restrictive to connect to a different email address; you should have a drop-down menu to choose the site you want to query.

I like the idea of this product and genuinely hope they continue to develop it. However, it simply isn’t business ready at this time. The AI is very basic and has problems with any kinds of insights, comparisons and trends. The graphics it can create are inadequate for detailed analysis and are very, very basic. The graphics are not something I would want to include in a client presentation. I took a refund, but I hope the company will continue development!

Bottom Line: I love the idea, but the execution feels like an "alpha" product.

I've tested this product several times, and it generally performs as advertised. However, it remains quite basic—it lacks essential features like save functionality and chat history. Unfortunately, the chat becomes unstable after two or three interactions, leading to breakdowns.

If the developers were to add the missing features and include some well-crafted preset prompts along with helpful tutorials, this product could significantly improve. I initially considered giving it a 3 out of 5 rating. However, I decided to rate it 5 out of 5, hoping that the developers will implement these enhancements in the future and that this isn't merely a cash grab.

As you know, GA4 is a mess and unintuitive, but Backona completely transforms the experience. I can get the insights I need just by asking simple questions.

I had a support request related to my account, which is connected to over 50 GA4 properties. I reached out to their team and, incredibly, they solved the issue and updated the platform within just one day. Their responsiveness and customer care are seriously impressive.

Additionally, I suggest considering an increase in credits for AppSumo users, as some early-stage issues may arise that require more attempts to obtain the correct answers? I'm currently in Tier 3, and although I have 1000 credits, for now I'll need more than usual to obtain the right answers or to persuade Backona AI to provide some of the more complicated metrics that remain somewhat challenging.

Hi, I just purchased Backona AI and, from my first impressions, I really like it. Integrating Google Search Console and Google Analytics worked without any issues, and the chat can now answer my questions. As a solopreneur, I have to be careful about how I spend my limited time, so I’m glad I no longer need to export and sift through Excel files to find my low-hanging fruit.

No software is perfect, so I have a few enhancement ideas:

Add search-volume metrics—either via an integrated service or by allowing a manual upload of search-volume and SEO-difficulty data.

Let me save the questions I use frequently in a “Favorites” section.

Build an integration with Matomo.
